Inflammation and obesity
Studies show that an inflammatory diet can lead to conditions such as diabetes, fatty liver disease and heart disease, all conditions which are linked to obesity. Highly inflammatory foods include refined carbohydrates and sugars, processed and packaged foods and rancid oils. Avoiding these foods and focusing on anti-inflammatory choices such as fresh fruits and vegetables, high quality meats, good fats and moderate whole grains and legumes can help immensely.
